Sheena has worked full time as an executive coach since 2000. She works across multiple sectors and organisations, and both in the UK and internationally. She has always coached senior teams as well as individuals, and it is the work with teams which has provided the inspriation for fideum.
“I love the work I do with senior leaders and teams, but had always wondered how we could share the benefits across organisations as a whole. fideum allows us to do this – it’s the missing piece for me – the piece that allows the benefit of coaching to be applied in a way that is truly systemic.”
During a corporate career in IT, Sheena saw first-hand that how people show up in work is critical to their success. In all of her work, she now helps people to understand the impact they have, and where they need to get out of their own way! She has the courage to voice what she sees, respectfully challenging whatever stands in the way of success, and helping clients to turn their insights into practical strategies that transform how they show up, how they lead, and how their organisations perform.
She has a degree in Economics and languages, has been affiliated to the International Coach Federation as a PCC since 2005, and qualified as a coach supervisor in 2008.
She lives in Berkshire with her husband and two teenage daughters, but loves to travel, usually with backpack and Lonely Planet Guide. She and her husband run a Scottish ceilidh band in their ‘spare’ time, and the family escapes as often as possible to their home in Scotland for a dose of the big outdoors.
Marion has been coaching individuals, teams and groups since 1996. Her work is typically focused on Operational teams, key leaders and key talent in business – helping them genuinely become the great leaders they need to be for their business, their clients, their people and themselves. She has worked with many top FTSE organisations, with charities, and in sport where she coaches the coaches.
Over the years Marion noticed just how many times the same coaching goals were being brought to the work when working with a number of people in any one organisation – typically driven by the culture within the business. Hearing clients say “I need to be really direct with someone but we don’t do that here” or “How do I establish great relationships within this matrix where we don’t work in the same team?” Knowing the impact of a number of leaders developing and changing their language and behaviours at the same time, Marion started to explore how coaching groups of leaders could really support the creation of a culture – a fundamental building block of fideum.
Marion’s core strengths lie in her ability to build the most amazingly trusting relationships and, from this, challenging and supporting her clients to achieve all that is possible for them. Her creativity to always ‘find a way that is easy, clear and impactful’ is a key piece of the thinking in fideum.
She has a Maths and Physics degree, is a graduate of Cranfield Business School’s Integrated Management Development Programme, an accredited coach with the International Coach Federation and Master NLP Practitioner and Coach
She lives in Berkshire with her husband, aspiring film maker of a son, two teenage daughters, two dogs, a cat, turtles and fish. She is passionate about her family, travel (anywhere) and sport (rugby at number 1).
